How you can help

There are several ways you can partner with me and my students in Tanzania:

1) Praise God for the work He is already doing. 

• God is already at work and doing so many incredible things! It is remarkable to spend time thinking about what He is already doing and thanking Him for it!

2) Pray for the work here in Tanzania

•  That Jesus is at the center of all that we do
• That we would not only live in the Spirit, but walk in the Spirit
• That God will help me to connect with a local church and become involved in a healthy community. I would love to be “adopted” into a Tanzanian family while I am there.
• For my relationships with my students – that God will highlight the students I need to invest my time and energy in
• Wisdom – for teaching strategies in the classroom, to overcome cultural and language barriers, for whose counsel to trust, and for the day-to-day choices I make.                

3) Give Financially

• You can support me and my students personally. You can choose to give a monthly donation or a one-time donation. You can donate online here and selecting "Quinlisk, Lindsey" from the lists of missionaries. Here is the break- down of my  living expenses while in Tanzania. 
• You can donate to help build classrooms, provide scholarships for students, or other towards other projects. See the list here.
• One of the projects that is important to me right now is the college dorm project. This project is to build dorms for students to live in while they are studying at the Teachers College to become teachers, administrators, business leaders, and chaplains. A group of 100 current and former volunteer teachers are each trying to raise $400 so that as a group we raise $40,000. There is a foundation that will match what we raise. This means we can have $80,000 to put towards the college dorm project! If you would like to donate to this, label it the "College Dorm Project"

4) Give Supplies

• Village Schools has compiled a list of supplies from highest priority to lowest priority. I am excited to bring supplies with me but please keep in mind that I will have limited room in my 2 suitcases which also has to include all my necessities for living there for a year. See the list here.
